“President Bush noted how strong our economy is and outlined threats facing our nation,” said IARC Chairman Dr. Vijay. “The President noted there are 122 democracies around the world. Freedom is on the march and is making its way into the Middle East. He correctly stated that we cannot allow the cowardly acts of terrorism against civilians to undermine our efforts in the Global War on Terrorism. ‘We will never surrender to evil,’ said President Bush, showing America’s resolve to win this battle against radical Islam by partnering with our allies and bringing freedom to the Muslim world.
“The President noted that India was now becoming a competitor of the U.S., recognizing its growing economic clout. He also said protectionism is not the answer to a global economy.
“The President said America must lead the world because no other nation has the moral authority, strength, and willpower to do so. This is our destiny, and we should gladly accept this burden which has been placed upon our nation since its founding by our Creator.
