Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

C-CPAN’s Founder and Executive Director Brian Lamb sent a letter on December 30, 2009 to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Minority Leader John Boehner, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell asking them to allow C-SPAN cameras into the negotiating room as Members of Congress hash out their final conference report on the health care “reform” bill.  However, it appears that the House and Senate leadership may decline to undertake bipartisan conference negotiations on the bill, let alone show them on television, and instead negotiate a quick agreement behind closed doors so POTUS can sign the bill into law before his first State of the Union address.

The House Speaker’s icy response?  “There has never been a more open process for any legislation.”

  1. I worry about the Proposed Healthcare Plan. Can it cause negative changes on my standard of living? Will the benefits outweigh the bad changes?
