Washington, D.C. – Today, the Indian American Republican announced it has been named a National Partner with the U.S. Census Bureau to promote the importance of being counted in the 2010 Census within the Indian American community.

“Being named by the Census Bureau as a national partner indicates our national prominence as a rising organization in the Indian American community,” said Nina Verghese, IARC spokeswoman.  “By partnering with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Census Bureau, we will actively spread the message of the importance of filling out and sending back the Census.  We are honored to have been selected by the Census Bureau and will work hard to spread awareness and dispel myths of the Census survey.”
